international day of widows prayer
May 15 has been designated as International Day Of Widows Prayer.
This is both a day for non-widows to be praying for the plight of widows in need throughout the world, as well as a special day of prayer by widows, themselves, for The Church, Christ’s Bride, to be the “Pure and Undefiled” Bride that God desires her to be. Please remember to pray that day, whether it is for 1 minute or 8hrs, whether you decide to fast 1 meal or for the whole day, it will make a difference. The only difference that will not be made is if we ignore the immense suffering of widows on a daily basis.
